The Blue Hill Villas
These are a group of 20 4-bedroom villas near to the coast of the beautiful Algarve, and just 20 minutes from Faro International Airport.

The villas are all detached, have private 10x5 metre swimming pools, and each has its own private garden of about a third of an acre. Pool heating and air conditioning are included as standard.

Each villa has 4 double/twin bedrooms that will accommodate 8 persons in comfort, and for larger groups we can arrange for two villas next to each other. All villas have 4 bath/shower rooms.

All villas are fully equipped, including BBQ, satellite TV with British channels and DVD.

Location
There are mountain views to the north, and to the south it is only a few minutes drive to the coast, with miles of sandy beaches. The villas are in a peaceful location, surrounded by countryside. There are several towns and villages nearby for shopping and eating out. (CLICK HERE FOR AREA MAP)

These prices are for a 4 bedroom villa, accommodating 8 people, with private pool and gardens. Baby cots are free. Pool heating and air conditioning are included as standard.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Climate
The Algarve has the sunniest weather in Europe. In summer, temperatures usually reach 30 degrees celsius during the day. Gentle ocean breezes from the Atlantic keep down humidity, making a very comfortable climate. Ideal for relaxing days by your pool. In winter, daytime temperatures are a comfortable17-20 degrees. There is very little, if any, rainfall between May and September.

The Local Area
The area is a perfect escape from mass-tourism, and ideal for those wanting to get away from it all. However, there is much to see and do. Local town Tavira is one of the prettiest in Portugal. There are many miles of superb coastline and mountains to explore. Children can enjoy visits to water parks or go karting. For those wanting to venture further afield, the great city of Seville is an exciting destination for a day out, located an hour's drive away across the nearby Spanish border. English is widely understood in the area.

Eating Out
There are several towns within a short driving distance for eating out and shopping. There are numerous local restaurants catering for a wide variety of tastes. We highly recommend trying the local portuguese restaurants. The food is good, the service friendly and the prices are low.

Golf
For golfers, this is a great base. Local courses include Quinta de Cima - which was named in the 2004/5 edition of the Peugeot Golf Guide as the best course in Portugal - and it's sister course Quinta da Ria, and the Sir Henry Cotton designed Benamor. Other famous courses like Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura are all within a comfortable driving distance. For visitors to the area, we can arrange for you pre-booked tee times at greatly reduced prices.
